Formed in late summer 2008 GREAT DIVIDE have built up a comprehensive repertoire of rock cover versions, played with prominent acoustic guitars but not lacking in energy or ripping guitar solos. In October 2008 GREAT DIVIDE had their first gig as a three piece at Room 21, Kettering. Offered a residency on the back of that one performance,they continued playing there bi-weekly until Christmas that year. At the time the band comprised of Henrik, Did and Heath (Bass).

Luke joined the band for his firstgig in late October and after Heath eloped to Spain in early 2009 Jason took control of Bass duties.

GREAT DIVIDE have since taken up another residency at Max Bar, Kettering and played venues throughout

Northamptonshiresuch as The Rover,Stirrup Cup, O'Malleys and The Wayfarers.

In 2009 GREAT DIVIDE will be picking up the electrics as well as developing their own material.
